Friday we celebrated the 100th day of school! We had a packed day!
First thing that morning we went on a number hunt around the school to match and color numbers and spell out a hidden word on our hundred's chart.

Make sure the colors match! |
While we were hunting for numbers, the most terrifying thing happen ... a 100 year old lady came down to hall! |
When we got back into the classroom, the kids rotated to different stations. At one station, they had to match numbers at the bottom of Hershey kisses to the numbers 1-100 on the hundreds charts.
At another stations, they had to dig in "moon sand" (shaving cream and cornstarch) and find 100 pennies to equal a dollar. It got a little messy, but hey ... we're in kindergarten! :)
100 pennies adds up to a dollar! |
10 pennies in each box makes 100 pennies! |
At a third station they made 100th day crowns to wear and show off they're 100 days smarter!
At a fourth station the kids made Fruit Loop necklaces with 100 Fruit Loops!
That's a lot of Fruit Loops on that necklace! |
THIS may be one of my favorite pictures of all! :)
Happy 100th Day! |
