For Cinco de Mayo, the kids did Cinco de Mayo math and reading/writing stations all morning. The week before, they made their own maracas by paper macheing Easter eggs then painting them. In the afternoon, they made their own papel picado with tissue paper, tried to hit open our piñata and had tacos, rice, sopapillas and horchata.
