Our first week of math was spent mostly playing and making sure we used our math manipulatives the right way. On the carpet during calendar time, we practiced writing and making our numbers with dry erase board and markers.
At their first station of the week, the kids practiced playing with the counting bears.

At their second math station for the week, the kids played with linking cubes.
At their third math station for the week, the kids played with linking cubes.
At my table this week, we practiced counting, reading, writing and representing numbers 1 - 5.
