Halloween Week - Math!

During Halloween week, we did whole group math stations instead of rotating. It's a LOT easier to get whole group stuff done rather then switching when we have a week full of special day! Monday, we practiced story problems with trick-or-treaters.

Tuesday, the kids colored objects to show more and less with numbers. They colored numbers on witch hats that were more and colored candy corn that was less.

Wednesday, we made number pumpkins! The kids had to cut out their strips of paper and put the numbers in order from 1 to 10. Then, we put brads at the top and bottom and curved the paper out. It was a really cool math craft!
