Last week we celebrated Veterans Day. We also did some Thanksgiving themed stations with our Veterans Day stuff throughout the week. The kids matched word families with pictures, colored by letter, found beginning sounds, painted their pillow cases for our Thanksgiving lunch this week, wrote about Veterans Day, made a Veteran, made a United States flag, read a Veterans Day decodable, did an army color by vowel page and much more!
