3D Shapes

Looking at our sphere
Last week seemed so short with our late start on Monday and missing school on Friday all due to bad weather, plus our early release day for parent conferences. So, it was one crazy and short week! In math, we talked about 3D shapes and some objects that those shapes remind us of. We looked at our plastic 3D shapes and did a 3D shape book at my table turning shapes into objects we could associate them with. At their other tables this week, the kids practiced addition by finding missing numbers to get to a total of 10, practiced subtraction, and compared numbers using greater than.
