Beach Day

Last Friday, we had Beach Day in our classroom. Since we had Beach Day, stations for the morning were all beach themed!

The kids put sentences in the correct order, measured beach animals, played in the water table, had castle building contests (with blocks and legos, NOT sand), listened to a book about ocean animals and ate a pretty cool beach snack! We had a busy day!

Of course, they had to have some relaxing in the "sun" time.

For a snack at the end of the day, I made the kids octopus hot dogs, banana and apple palm trees, goldfish washed up on Cheerio sand and a sand dollar cookie.
