This week in science, we talked about rocks! How did the kids feel about rocks? Well, I think this picture says it all ...
The first thing we did in the week was watch our BrainPOP on Rocks and Minerals!
We also read a book about rocks and looked at some of the different kinds of rocks.
Later in the week, the kids each got a rock and did a "Rock Report" where they told about the rock's size, markings and texture. Then, they drew their rocks.
The next day, the got rocks again and did a rock report. This time, they had to write the words instead of just circle them!
