Last week in reading and writing stations, the kids sorted pictures into categories, practiced making compound words with raindrops and umbrellas, read words to find the correct one, matched pictures with their blends, had CVC and sight word races, sorted letters, words and sentences, and wrote what they thought characters would do to solve problems in different stories we read throughout the week.
