Last week was week 2 of Hispanic History Month. For our second week, we talked about Pablo Picasso. Monday, we looked at the poster of his and the kids talked about what they saw and in the poster and what they thought he did.
Tuseday, we watched a BrainPop in Pablo Picasso and learned more about some of the things he did.
Wednesday, the kids used different shapes to make collages like Picasso did. In a couple weeks, I'll laminate them with their names on the back so they can have them to use as place mats in the classroom when we have parties or for snack or breakfast if they want to.
Thursday, we took one last look at some of the different things Picasso painted and sculpted.
