Constitution Day

Yesterday was Constitution day. We have been talking about the Constitution and how it is a set of rules that people and the government have to follow. We have been talking about how the United States Constitution and our classroom Constitution are kind of similar! We have also been talking about Sonia Sotomayor this week and how she helps to enforce the Constitution as a judge (she is our first person we are talking about for Hispanic History Month).

To celebrate Constitution Day, the kids colored and cut out Uncle Sam hats.

Aren't are Uncle Sam's adorable! :)
